For The Love Of Shoulder Bags and Cluthes

So am that kind of girl who carries huge bags that are filled of nonesense

I can never find my keys inside of them, and there are zillion of stuff inside my bag that I know I dont need but am afraid to take out -in case one day I will need them-

The smallest bag I would carry is a speedy

But honestly I find small shoulder bags and cluthes so cute and adoreable and I wish one day I can just carry my wallet and cell inside my bag - that woud be a miracle I've done it few times but am never comfortable-

The Valentine's Day Special

So Valentine's day is next week!

So this post am going to write about where to go, what to get as gifts and what NOT to wear!


So lets start with the most important thing, what NOT to wear

Please, PLEASE, please you dont have to be dressed in all red every freaking valentine's day
there is no rule that says you have to wear red, let alone wear everything that is red
Please dont go around wearing a red shella, with a red purse, red shoes, red earrings, red lipstick and red nailpolish!
Its freaking disgusting!
I have even seen girls who put a huge red rose in their hair! SERIOUSLY!

So here it goes, You Dont HAVE to wear red!

now that we are done with the "raw" part lets move to something more fun
What to buy as a gift?
Usually the girls are good at getting the guys gifts, its the other way around where problems occur!

Dear guys: Roses, teddy bears, chocolates are all "wrapping accessories"
They come as part of the wrapping, they cant be the gift itself
its something you give along with the gift!
Please dont go to your girl with a sad ass single rose and say: happy valentine's day my love!
and then say: its the thought that counts.

You could have pulled this shit off when we were in elemantry school, but not as an adult!

and no we are not gold diggers and we arent materialistic bitches! But the whole purpose of a gift is to get someone something nice and decent, 59o9an law el bint el miskeena mt3ba nfsaha and is getting you somethin decent!

So the following gifts are out of the questions: chocolates, teddy bears, roses

You could give them along with the actual gift as : WRAPPING material

So the question is what to get her?

Jewellery

and you dont have to go bankrupt, you can find them in various prices!

My ultimate fave and every girl's fave is the blue box of love: Tiffany and Co.

For those who dont know, we have it available here in Oman in Jawaher Oman opposite CCC

They have a lovely collection and they are getting new pieces next week
and boys dont say: I dont know how to choose, there is a lovely lady working there named Sarah she is very helpful and will help you choose :P blaa exscuses!


Other places where you can find lovely accessories is the shop downstairs in Asfoor Plaza

They have my ultimate fave watches:  Misaki

Diamonds may be some girls' best friends, but pearls are for sureMY best friends, and Misaki are innovative peal jewellery makers, and their watches are to die for, so you can pick your girl one of those time-less pieces. -Please note not all the pearls they use are real, most are faux, but they are just as lovely-

This same shop in Asfoor carries few pieces of D&G and Moschino accessories that can be also a nice valentine's day gift, get her one of the lovely rings and have your initials engraved on it.

If you dont want to get her jewellery, I always found luxurious silk scarves to be a great gift, well too bad we dont have Hermes here - we dont have anything here actually- but you can find some decent scarves in Salam, I saw some lovely Fendi silk scarves there, you can check them out

Now if you have a more close intimate relationship I would suggest that as a gift you book a lovely spa package day for both of you together, as I mentioned in an earlier post I love the couple packages available in Chedi's spa, the romantic bath and couples massages, you can combine that lovely gift with buying her some hot lingrie! we dont have much lingire options here in Oman, sadly the only decent recommendation I can give is La Senza in city center, just make sure you get a bunch! who knows maybe you would want to book a room for you both together there awell! Now thats one hell of a gift!

Now if you like the spa idea but you dont have that kind of close intimate relationship you can get her a solo gift, where you get her a spa voucher for a whole day for her to spend at the spa and to enjoy! They have special valentine day packages, I would recommend either Chedi Spa, Essence Spa or the Chi Spa

Please dont get her a voucher from Grand spa! thats hardly a spa, more like a sad ass saloon!


These are the ideas I though of, again you could always ask your girl indirectly about what she has on her mind or ask some of her close friends!

Another cute thing you can get her IN ADDITION to the gift, please again this cant be given as a solo gift, is customized cupakes, where you can ask them to include special memories of you too together, dates, pictures, phrases, etc

I would recommend Nadya Khan, even though am sure by now she would be fully booked!

YOU SHOULD NEVER EVER EVER GET:
A teddy bear as a gift
A rose as a gift
A box of chocolates as a gift
Balloons as a gift
Cupcakes as a gift

All of those should be given in addition to the gift


You should never get her a perfume as a gift!!! I forgot to mention this, a sad single bottle of perfume as a gift is cheap, impersonal and just sad!

If you want to get perfumes, get a bunch of them!

Now before I end, here is a sneak view of an early valentine's day gift I got two days ago, yaaay am loving it and hoping by next tuesday -the actual valentine day- I will get a couple more :P
