In this heat: Bye Jeans and HELLO trousers!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I hate the feeling of denim on my skin

It makes heat and the humid 10 times worst

and now that the temp is rising, am sticking to cotton, chiffoun and silk trousers

Good thing that the wide legged trousers are back, now I can feel a bit comfy and still look decent- instead of simply looking like a clown :P

SPOTTED: Naomi Wearing Versace for H&M

So last night couldnt sleep and was watching pretty little liars and 90210 on MBC4

I love what they wear

so I was snoozing away when my eyes popped open when I saw Naomi in 90210 wearing the piece I loved from the Versace for H&M, and it looked fab on her

Doesnt it look gorgeous?

Fyunka @ Boutique Muscat: OMG!

Ever since I have seen those funky long chained bags of hermes designs and chanel on many blogs, I fell in love with the saudi based brand: Fyunka!

And then I saw their notebooks and I fell in love even more.

So I was planning next time I visit dubai in the upcoming month I will stop by S*uce and get myself one of those bags and surly the notebooks

AND THEN!

this thursday I found out that Fyunka has arrived in Oman in Boutique Muscat, and I was jumping up and down, I went the same day there to get my hands on whatever was left cuz I was already a day late and I was sure the good stuff were probably gone or booked already!

Well *sob sob* the long chained Hermes design bag was gone, but I got my hand on the last Chanel design bag, and I got my hand on the note books.

There were a couple of other bags and notebooks there, probably if you stop by there 2om you will find something!

Fave Beauty Products Of The Month

So here we go again, those are another couple of my MUST-HAVE beauty products

Primers

As I have written in a previous post I love guerlain's makeup primers, I used to use the one with the pink pearls, but now am in love with this one, the shine control primer, its amazing in giving a matte look ( my main concern). Before spraying this primer I use the shiseido pureness to help purify and also give a matte clean skin. So currently those are my main two prep steps

2- Guerlain's Bronzer and Eye Shadow

Sadly this was a limited edition bronzer and they dont have it anymore but it is one of my ultimate fave, the color is so good, it gives an immediate bronze. This eye shadow palette however is available this is the 4 color eyeshadow long lasting palette in number 7: its called Les Cuirs

3- My Ultimate Fave Eye Shadow: Play on Plums by Mac

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVEEEE this eyeshadow, the color combination is perfect, and its so rich , juss a small brush of it gives you rich lasting color, I cant live without this one

4- Givenchy's Lipstick and Lipliner

This is the lipliner in number 3, it gives a natrual peachy color to the lips, and its long lasting, lovely

A Lovely Day With Givenchy's Makeup Artist: Joseph Dosh

On Tuesday I was lucky enough to spend two hours with Givenchy's regional makeup artist Joseph Dosh

Joseph Dosh is known to have worked with big celebrities such as: Liv Tyle, Olsen twins, Haifa Wahibi, Najwa Karam and many more.

He gave me a couple of great makeup pointer and tips, and answered many of my questions, I mostly had questions on contouring the face, he did a full makeup makeover for me, that was a tutorial for me aswell

I wanna share with you some of the products he used on and recommended:

So first things first: Foundation

When it comes to foundation, the main thing I look for is a matte finish, I hate foundations that make you glow and give sorta of an oily look, so Joseph told me I was in luck because the new givenchy foundation:

Eclat Matissime is espically designed for oily and combination skin and makes sure you have a shine free coverage throughtout the day, when he tried it on me, I was pretty impressed because usually liquid foundations dont seem to give me that matte look, so I got this foundation and the compact powder aswell

Contouring powder and eye shadow

So my main concern was contouring, I usually use a bronzing powder and a liquid highlighter, but Joseph used this compact powder: Le Prisme Visage mat, and I liked it alot as it didnt have the shine and carroty color my bronzer has, and for the highlighting he used a liquid highlighter, so I will just stick to my liquid higlighter from YSL, and to contour I got the compact powder he used. For the eyes I made it pretty clear I like earthy tones, am not a fan of bold colors on the eyes, so I fell in love with this eye shadow palette he chose.

and here is what I loved the most: Givenchy Mist Me Gently

So you know how sometimes after applying makeup you feel its too much or too thick, and after say an hour when it gets absorbed into the skin you feel it looks more blended in and natural? Well this last step Joseph did made the same miracle in just one minutes, he used this mist after he finished applying the makeup, and then he fanned it, and yaay I got that same effect as if the makeup has been magically blended into my skin, now this is a must have for everyone! You can spray it with makeup on or without for that little glow!

I really enjoyed those two hours with Joseph and time just flew by and I still had millions of questions!
